Well... I guess most of you have seen Opfor slowly crumbling the past month. Soul has dissapeared off the face of the Earth and wasn't nice enough to pay the server off while he died, I wanted to keep the server alive but alas, I am poor. I have a.... Personal... Issue that has to be dealt with before i can move on. So Basically what im saying is Opfor as a clan will cease to Exist from this point on, im not sure how many people still come to this site and who stil uses the Tags. The website will remain up and I shall be here to maintain it for those who wish to continue visiting it. You guys can still wear the tags and play as OpFor not that i know why you would want too, but im going going to stop anyone from using the name or the tags. We can be proud that we lasted as long as we did, most clans fall apart within the first 2 weeks usually its disputs between members that divide clans in half but in this case it was the leader that neglected his duties for which i am sorry.

Well it looks like the tournament didn't go ahead as planned due to the cyclone hovering over my head. My family decided it was best that we moved so we travelled for 2 days which means i wasn't able to get on. when we got back we had no power for a day and internet cut out every 3 seconds for 4 days. The knife tournament will be rescheduled for further down the track. Im not sure whats been happening lately i've been in abit of a daze about the whole clan thing. But i should be back to normal soon and focusing on the clan. Some of you might not know what a cyclone is... not naming anyone or anything... *Looks at wonder*. So i'll be uploading some pictures on the forum. You might be thinking oh no a cyclone, that's so scary.... oh your uploading pictures too? thats so super cool. Well you can go to hell, I'm uploading the pictures anyway. Some people don't like the new map rotation so i guess the only solution is to make a poll, yay!

This Saturday, 20/03/2010. We are holding a Knife Tournament on the Opposing Force Server, There are no requirements for joining anyone can sign up, member or not. Just leave your In-Game Name and your XFIRE in a Post on the Guestbook page of the wesbite. You can also add any further inquires in your post on the Guestbook. We have yet to establish a time of which the server will be changed for the Tournament so we will keep you updated with with how this turns out, Also in your post Make sure you write down the earlier time you would be on on Saturday as that would help to find the best time for everyone to hold the event. There will be prizes for those who come first, second and third, The prizes have yet to be named but guarenteed. If anyone would like to contribute to the reward of the event feel free to send any donations to the Clan's paypal, there is a link on the website. If for some reason you cannot make the day of the event please let us know that you cannot make it, that will save us time and we'll appreciate it. I'll be posting more about this as time progresses, so keep active on the site to find out more.

I rewrote this about 3 times because i wanted to express how i felt on the matter as well, It's tough trying to choose who you think would be the best when the potential of each person is so much more functional as a whole. Hello "Everyone", We will now sit down and have a small chat about the progess of electing new administrators for the Opposing Force Server. Myself, Reflex and Wonder read through all the applications and came to the position we are in now. We understand that all of you are anxious to know who the administrators are and will most probably turn off communication when we announce them, so we will tell you further down the page. We wanted to elect Two new administrators for the "OpFor - PoPuLaR MaPs - HC" Server. So far we have Myself, Reflex and Wonder with the addition of Soul, due to the fact that he is paying for our server at the moment. What we were looking for was people who could keep up to the challange of being dedicatd, hard working, reliable and responsible administrators for the server. Obviously we could not pick all of you as that would cause chaos through out the server. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions or atleast they would like to think they were, so that would of been a bad idea from the start. We knew we would have to pick Someone or some people to fill in these new positions. We have yet to decide on a setup for using rcon, we will announce who the administrators are but even now they won't have the rcon password until we have finished setting up the server for their use. There is more to being an administator then changing the map at your leasure, making it "Snipers" only, kicking people who disagree with your actions. No we needed people who could handle difficult situations, and not misuse the rcon for their own reasons and keep peace on the server when no one else is around to support it. The administrators that are being chosen, were chosen because they standed out from the rest of the applicants not because they were better then every way, just because they had more hands on experience and have been administrators before, i have seen these guys working on the server to achieve piece and prosperity. The applications names will now be announced, drumroll please.... (DEAD) and D.N.Angel Are to be the new administrators, I know most of you are now looking really sad and might even wan't to leave OpFor because you thought you had what it takes. Well let's not put it in that perspective, even though you weren't chosen for being administrator does not mean you won't ever be an administrator. As the server grows, we need new peace keepers, you who didn't make it this time will be at the front of the line next time. Some of you might think over what went wrong in your grand plans to be administrator. I won't say his name one but applicant today on the server suggested that he filled out his application wrong, I frowned at this because the application form was just a front to see how you would react in these situations in theory. None of those questions could of been answered incorrectly, I am probably talking in circles but what i mean is this, They didn't "Win" because they answered better, I Picked them because i feel that they deserve it and are willing to keep up with the high standards of OpFor, but should they fail, accidently or not, we might need to rethink the administration section. Congratulations (DEAD) and D.N.Angel on your "Promotion" I suggest you take this moment to refresh as within the next day or two you will be Spoken too about learing how to Fuction as an Administrator. If anyone has any quesitons I will answer them, but i believe i already know how everyone will react. Oh lawd i don't believe i have ever used Administrator so many times in one Sitting. The Applications are Over. But applications can still be submitted for future refference. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scrim Team? Recently i have been developing a thought about putting together a scrim team for future clan battles, there are a few things to set up, I'm sure most of you want to participate and you all will at some point in time it hink for now we need to focus on training, I'm working on a training schedule ill be keeping you up-to-date on how this unfolds. But if we can get a team together that will do us wonders. My absence
Hello boys and girls, it would seem that i have not been on the last few days and that is because as some of you have been told I have been house sitting for some friends and they have now returned home so i had to leave and have been moving around lately but we have now found a new home so i should be back on the site and server and being active again as soon as my internet resets, its so slow i cant even load the homepage and have cod4 open at the same time. I hope my leaving has not caused too much trauma. Also on another note it has come to my attention that we are in need of a Server administrator or two. So there will be a thread on the forum opening up soon for applications, keep an eye out if you wish to be an administrator in the future. Lets also give a special round of applause to D.N.Angel for being the first person to donate. Thank-you angel your contribution is greatly appreciated and will help fund the server. |

Everything is easier going downhill. So the website is pretty much stable and so is the server for now, pretty much everything is set up on the site, i finally took the time to fix the file catalog but i still have quite a few things to upload too it, I am still working on a roster but that should be up and running soon. Myself and wonder have had some good ideas about doing a side show, something about glitching or montages or just funny skits, we're still deciding but if you have any ideas or show interest in helping out if we get it going we would be happy to know, just send a PM to Reflex or Wonder. I wasn't actually in KK when i made this video this is about a year and a half old. But by the time i joined KK i uploaded it and i thought i would be to Nova and Put some KK Advertising on it. KK Is still around and the clan is just as cool. Too bad some of the members have been inactive of late. |
Welcoming Commity:Hello and welcome, this is the new website and homebase for OpFor. The clan is fairly new started on Monday, 25 of 2010. We hope to get the clan up and running and have our server and website flooding with good quality users. We have a 14 slot server, that as it gets popular will increase to maybe a 20 slot or a 32 slot server, depending on how i can fund the server and how many users are logging on at one time. There will be more information in the forums to find about how you can help out the server or how you can join the OpFor Clan. While your here please comment on the tag board, post in the forums and play on the server, make sure you check the site from time to time to see what news has come up about the clan.
